Website Updates December 2014

After a long month of typing and editing. I finally fixed some of my personal issues on my site because I had a difficult time going around the issues. Although the script will not affect the viability to the customer, I realized I messed up but when I tackled it; it was a headache to deal with.

I did change the website for the customer though however.

Updates in total:

Working on my Blog. Uploaded some of Tyler’s Photography. Fixed a scripting issue. (Fixing it, just on my end) Added a black border to draw your eyes to the center. Changed a few things around to fit the new border. Alphabetized ‘Places I’ve been’ and adjusted the layout.

Fixed ‘Phil’s Contact’ page information more viable. Updated Tyler’s ‘Gallery Page’ for the winter season. Working on my book ‘Secrets of Her’. Finishing my book ‘God’s Hero: The Chosen One’. Will publish it at Book 8. (Very personal to me)

Website is coming along quite nicely now. Please don’t forget to give feedback, it helps improve the website for the future.

God’s Hero Update

God’s Hero – The Chosen One (Book 1)

Very short Post for those who want to know the status of God’s Hero.

• I am on CHAPTER 32 – The Fallen Angel (Last Chapter)
• I ‘may’ add 10 more chapters when editing book.
• Book Word Count: 65,985 (Goal 70,000)
• Editing may take a long while. I messed up on a few things.

Please Note: I will start publishing Book 1 of the series, once I finish Book 8. This book is very personal to me and want it done right. There will be 10 books in total.

What does NaNOWriMo stand for? NaNoWriMo stands for “National Novel Writing Month” When is NaNOWriMo? November 1 – 30th every year.

Young Writers Program Camp NaNoWriMo

What is NaNoWriMo anyways? NaNoWriMo is free to join. What you do at NaNoWriMo is that you write a novel in 30 days or try to at least. No editing your work, just write. The Goal is to get 50,000 words in a month. Wow 50,000 words is a lot. That overwhelmed me as well but since I am giving writing a try, I took on the challenge too. I first heard of NaNoWriMo from a writers workshop in Fort St. John, BC. They nagged and nagged me to join. So I looked around to see if it would help me. They told me to use Scrivener, but I do everything on my own so I don’t need that program. You do the 50,000 in small bits at a time. The scale is so small that you can write as much or as little as you like. Could be for an hour a day to the full day if you please. The standard is 1,667 words a day but that is exactly 50,000 words. For one page is 250 words, so that is about 6-7 pages. You can donate if you want to but it is not required. They have a forums to help both new writers and experienced writers out. They keep you informed what is modern and what is popular. Depending on your book type theme there is always someone there to help you with your ‘Writers Block’. They can give you ideas that you have never thought of so you can keep writing.
